'Unstoppable!' Author Continues Relationship With 'Toys In The Sun'

FORT LAUDERDALE (Nov. 20, 2009) - For the 17th consecutive year, Unstoppable author Gigi Stetler is a corporate sponsor of the Toys in the Sun Run program that has generated over $27 million in gifts and cash since its inception.
"Since I started with them in 1992, my efforts have always been for the children," said Stetler. "I have been unstoppable in my business efforts, and certainly that holds true for my concern and efforts with those less fortunate."
Stetler's RV Sales of Broward company provides motorhomes used by event staff and entertainment talent for the program that benefits patients at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood and other local charities throughout South Florida.
Toys in the Sun began in 1987. This year's program is Dec. 6. It begins with a motorcycle parade starting at Isle Casino Pompano Park in Pompano Beach. The parade concludes at Markham Park in Sunrise. It has traditionally drawn 30,000 motorcyclists. Over 230 police officers insure safety along the route.
The Markham park program is open to the general public and features live music, various vendors, an international food court and refreshments. Admission is $10 and one new, unwrapped toy.
In addition to providing six RVs for five days, Stetler will be on hand at Markham Park to meet the public and autograph Unstoppable! The newly released book chronicles her unbendable will to succeed that carried her from 10th grade dropout to $20 million a year entrepreneur.
"This is a unique, once a year opportunity to benefit the children of South Florida. I encourage anyone who can to participate to do so, to bring a gift that can be distributed in time for the holidays," Stetler said.
